• I began my career with a passion for telling human stories. Whether through feature-length documentaries (see here) or wedding films, my goal has always been to create meaningful and honest stories. The profound experience of watching my own wedding film with my family solidified the deeply personal nature of wedding films and how important they are to the families that entrust Toast to capture their day. (Read my letter to employees in 2019 for the full story) I could not be prouder of the work that we do with our incredible team that has grown into our extended family.

I grew up all around the Midwest but now live with my wife Callie and our daughter in Lake Tahoe, NV where we love to hike, ski, swim in the freezing lake water, and soak in the natural beauty of this place any chance we get. When I’m not working, I’m obsessively trying to catalog and save all the Aspen trees behind our house.

  • As a wedding photographer for over a decade, I’ve seen firsthand how important documenting a wedding day can be – this may be the only time all of your family and friends are together, the last gathering for a grandparent, and a record of the day you publicly declared your love for your spouse. After meeting my now husband Zach, we joined forces to grow Toast with the help of our amazing team to document these important moments for all couples. It’s been and continues to be one of the most rewarding journeys yet.

When I’m not giving my two cents to the team, I’m raising our 2-year-old daughter in the bright alpine skies of Tahoe, where I grew up for a part of my childhood; I’m traveling and taking photographs abroad, one of my all-time favorite passions; or I’m relaxing on a beach eating poke in Hawaii with my family where I was born.

  • I am wedding obsessed and always have been! When I was a child I played wedding. Not where I was getting married, but where I was planning a giant party :D When I'm not thinking about wedding trends, video ideas, or the perfect down-the-aisle song, I spend time with my husband and our rescue dog. On weekends when I'm not working a wedding, I love to do projects (I always have paint or sawdust on me), work in the garden, and spend time by the ocean. I'm always just a few feet away from a cup of coffee and a salty snack: salty > sweet.

  • I'm all about making new friends! My background in education and social work means that I spend all my time trying to figure out how to connect with people. Thankfully, that's a huge part of the wedding industry and is why I love my job! On weekends, I like to spend time with my wife and our dog, working on projects around the house, trying to make a perfect cup of coffee or just relaxing and playing guitar.

  • I absolutely love getting to know new people! My career path has led me down some pretty interesting pathways, but all my jobs have had one common theme: making people happy. Now that I’m at Toast, I get to do that every day when I work with couples to plan and execute their dream video! My main “squeeze” right now is my 7lb Pomeranian named Kingston. He brings me joy in so many unexpected ways. In my free time I like to explore, travel and make art!

  • I'm a sushi-obsessed, sunshine-loving, dog mom with a passion for hosting! When I'm not taking my Goldendoodle, Luna, out for her daily lizard hunts, you can catch me scrolling through different DIY decor hashtags or tracking down a new appetizer to perfect.

Events have interested me ever since attending a family friend's yearly holiday party when I was young. Watching her host a gathering that brought everyone so much joy and gave us all something to look forward to each year fascinated me! So, I keep the tradition alive and count down the days to the holiday season every year now. :)

  • I am a video editor and creative specialist hailing from south New Jersey, living out my sunny dreams in south Florida. I have 7 years of digital media experience and I’m constantly learning and staying on top of the latest creative trends to deliver the best quality content to our clients! My favorite thing about working with Toast is helping couples relive their special day by creating a totally unique film that they will cherish forever. When I’m not glued to my iMac, you can find me on the beach playing volleyball with friends, jamming out on my ukulele, or in a local coffee shop ordering (probably my third) iced coffee.

  • I came to the US to pursue my dream of having a career in the film industry. When I came to work at Toast, I realized that my passion was in post-production on the editing side. I enjoy having the creative freedom to make meaningful stories and love being able to make a tangible for our couples to share! After work, I like to relax by ordering food, watching late night movies, and playing Minecraft!

  • I spent years as a video producer, vetting, hiring, and coordinating production crews for various commercials and corporate videos.

Coming to Toast was a perfect fit to continue doing what I love the most - working with fantastic artists to create amazing films for our clients.

I love getting to meet and geek out with the best videographers in the world! I also love going to live sports events, BBQ’ing (Kansas City BBQ > Everywhere), trying new foods with my best friend (my wife), and goofing off with my young son and daughter.

  • I love telling stories! From the day I got my first camcorder, I've spent hours filming events and creating short films. As a self taught video editor and filmmaker, I love discovering what is unique about each couple and their individual story. I try to create wedding films that best represent the day, full of all the unique little moments. When I’m not behind my computer, I love climbing the peaks of the California mountains, drawing portraits, or swimming in the ocean.

  • As a former film student back at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, I’ve spent years of my life dedicated to studying film! Now that I am part of the Toast team, I find joy in creating cinematic videos that couples can use to look back on their special day. When I’m not making films, I do amateur photography after work, and enjoy watching movies and catching up on the latest popular TV series!

  • I earned my Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies at the University of Kansas, where I found my passion for post-production, writing, and animation. While in school, I had the amazing opportunity to do volunteer work and help edit a short documentary about a local historical event. That led me to a career in filmmaking which led me to Toast! My background in film has allowed me to preserve the Super 8 home movies filmed by my grandmother, and I can't wait to preserve the memories of your wedding day for generations to come too!
